SXSW

SXSW was am-azing! Had such a great time!

Went out there Friday night for my best friend's 21st and had a few friends that neither of us had seen in a while. Got shwasted before we even left, then continued the party downtown. 6th street was LOADED with people and we just went bar hopping =]

My only regret about Friday is that I met this one girl at Vibe who picked me out of the crowd to dance with, and left without getting a number or even asking her to come along. That occurred because she and her friend walked off and, I assume left the bar. After thinking about it for a moment I bet they just went to the bar..oh well..

Then Saturday(last night) I went out with 3 of the original 5 that went Friday, and met up with the 4th(birthday boy) and 3 others. My brother and his fiance were out there for Explosions in the Sky, but she accidentally took a bunch of allergy medication and wasn't feeling up to par. Had another great night last night tho..saw some great music and met some cool people. My only regret about this night was that I wasn't a SXSW member, and couldn't see a lot of the bands I wanted to see..No matter tho. I had fun, and although my roommate had a badge and was able to see a lot of badass music, he wasn't 21 and couldn't enjoy the bar scene..

All in all my first SXSW experience was a blast and I got to experience it with some great people. Definitely gonna go back next year..Next is the reggae fest, then maybe a NIN and 311 show(seperate) and then it's Renaissance and ACL =]
